Thank you for helping me find my way with sewing. I really enjoyed the course which I only intended to 'help out' with my embroidery but I fear I may have got the bug now and keep looking for new things to sew !
The zip pouch was going to be used to hold things for my sewing machine but has been grabbed by my daughter in law as 'ideal for her make up'. Anyway that's part of the fun of sewing and embroidery is see other people enjoy your work.

Making Roman blinds:

I did enjoy my time and got a lot from just that morning.  
The website looks very helpful too.  
I attach a picture of the Roman Blind temporarily attached to a window. I'm so pleased with it!  
Thanks to your friendly personal approach , I do feel ready to tackle the soft furnishings in my house and am inspired to try cushions later.

Nicki's lessons have given me lots of useful skills which I can apply to a range of projects. She suggested some activities for me but was really flexible and adapted ideas to suit me.
