Learn to use your machine

Learn to sew straight lines and make 3 easy projects.

  This  is a set of 3 classes for complete beginners. It is an introduction to  using your  sewing machine. Make 3 easy projects to build your  confidence and basic skills 


Make a skirt

Great little tartan skirt.

This is a great first project for anyone who would like to get into dressmaking.

Suitable for those who can already use a sewing machine or have completed the beginner sewing classes

For those who have a little sewing experience under their belts or have completed the beginner sewing sessions

Make PJs

Make pj bottoms and applique a t shirt to match.

PJ bottoms are a great beginner project. They typically take a couple of sessions to make. You will need to be able to use a sewing machine for these

Curtains and Roman Blinds

Roman blinds de mystified.

In these sewing classes you will learn how to measure and calculate fabric for Curtains and Roman Blinds

Zips and buttonholes

Learn how to insert zips and buttonholes.

Lots of people struggle with zips and buttonholes, so you can book a class just to tackle these skills


Patchwork and quilting for beginners

Learn how to make a patchwork quilt. Grey and white patchwork quilt and matching bunting

Sewing Classes for those who would like an introduction into the patchwork and quilting world

Make a patchwork cushion cover or small lap quilt


Make whatever you like

In my classes you are not restricted to specific things, but can make anything you like with my guidance

Wednesday  mornings

 9.30am  to 12.00pm 


Wednesday  afternoons

1pm  to   3.30pm


Wednesday evenings 

7.00pm to 9.30pm  


Whether you would like to do the beginner sewing sessions or would like to do your own project you can book into a  date and time that suits you (subject to availability)  


There will never be more than 4 people in a class, so it's fine that you will all be doing different things, you will still get lots of help and attention                ​

Beginner classes: Learn to use your machine

Individual sessions 

£40 each

All 3 sessions 

£100

All materials are provided  for these classes, all you need to bring is your sewing machine if you have one

I have spare machines if you would like to try before you invest in one

All other classes             

£30 per session.  

Sewing classes tailored to your individual needs, and you will need to bring your own fabric, threads and patterns.

We will discuss this at booking

If you would like to book a set of sessions so that you can complete more than one project

You can book 6 consecutive weeks and complete more than one project   £150
